The governor
of the state of Osun, Ogbeni Rouf Adesoji Aregbesola, yesterday reaffirmed his
support for the leadership of Sheikh Daood Imran Molaasan for his leadership
style, good vision for Islam and progressive path he is taking to make Islam
well known as a way of life to the world.

This was
made known yesterday (31/12/2017) while delivering his speech at the closing
ceremony of 19th Annual National Conference of Jama’at Ta’awunil Muslimeen
which was held at Iwo City Hall, in the ancient city of Islamic scholars, Iwo,
State of Osun.

The governor
said he came purposely to let everybody knows where he stands and urged the
Ameer to pray for Yusuf Buhari, the President Buhari’s son who was involved in
bike-accident for his speedy recovery to enable him return to normal life.

The Ameer in
his speech, appealed to the people of the state to vote for someone who would
continue the programmes which Aregbesola had started. He then prayed for the
governor and the President’s son.
